What is the Purple Heart Project ?
The Purple Heart Project is an organization that helps physically and mentally Combat Wounded Veterans still suffering from the negative effects of combat. They have a program called the "Bench Brigade" which builds high quality woodworking benches for selected Veterans. Read more about them : here
How does the YCWA Support PHP
The York County Woodworkers Association is an avid follower of the PHP. We contacted them and after demonstrating that we met a strict set of criteria and rules, the build process began.
We were provided with a precise set of plans and began to build a workbench. Were to build adhering to those plans and using only approved materials.
